We collect student reviews of schools and cities, create meaningfull rankings and provide all the information you need before, while and after going on Erasmus. Erasmus is a foreign exchange programme organized by European Union. Each year more than 160 000 european students take part in it and spend a semester or full academic year studying abroad. 'Erasmus' stands for European Region Action Scheme for the Mobility of University Students and was established in 1987. Since then almost 2 million young people took part in it.
While on Erasmus, students don't pay the tuition fee and receive a grant to help them cover the costs of living. Erasmus is famous for integration between students from all over the Europe and by some scientists is described as a cultural phenomenon that is a very powerful force creating future European identity.
